First, let us say that we all recognize that it is important that Hawaiian Airlines is profitable. Everyone’s career depends on it. In 2017 the pilots got their new contract that included huge raises and back-pay. The pilots took a Strike Vote, reached a great deal with management, and Hawaiian Airlines remained profitable. Taking a Strike Vote will not hurt the company as long as the company is managed well.
